Some weddings just stay with you. Kelly and Conrad’s was one of those—beautifully personal from beginning to end. We started the day before, wandering through the heart of Funchal, taking time to slow down and capture their connection against the soft colours and textures of the city. It was peaceful, sunlit, and full of quiet anticipation.

The following day, they exchanged vows in the stunning Santuário de Nossa Senhora do Monte, surrounded by family, friends, and the kind of emotion that’s impossible to stage. After the ceremony, they made a joy-filled exit on Madeira’s iconic toboggan sledges—laughing all the way down the hill. That moment said everything about the spirit of the day—spontaneous, unfiltered, and full of life.

The celebrations continued at Hotel Quinta do Furão, perched on the island’s dramatic northern coastline. It was the kind of setting that doesn’t need much—just good people, golden light, and space to breathe. And that’s exactly what they had.
