I met Darren at the marquee solutions wedding fare. I was looking for relaxed and in the moment photos and also someone who could capture sparkler photos! Darren had a huge sparkler photo at his stall and after initially speaking I knew he was the photographer for us! He works as a fly on the wall to capture every special moment and detail.
I had talked through with Darren all the key shots that were important to us and he listened and captured each moment which bought tears to our eyes! These were then sent through the next day in our sneak peak photos which we were able to share with family and friends.
Darren gave us no time limit and stayed all day until he had captured every moment. All our guests complimented his style and they were all thrilled by the laid back approach. The photos are everything and more. We feel very lucky Darren was available to document our day for us and we couldn’t recommend him enough!

Darren Huelin Photography was the perfect choice for our special day. As we had a location wedding we brought Darren along and he not only captured the actual day and all its celebrations but the preparations in the days before hand and the day after. He was totally unobtrusive and captured some very special natural moments. He is friendly and managed to gather together all 130 of our guests for formal photos as well as getting some intimate images for us all to treasure. It was such a pleasure for us to have him with us during our special time that both my adult children also took him away with them on their location weddings as well. He brings love and laughter and worked tirelessly from sunrise to well past sunset. we now consider him a part of our extended family as he has been such a big part of our most special moments. We cannot recommend Darren enough his friendly approach his charming nature and his talent are at the top of the table.

We absolutely love the images Darren captured of our wedding day. We chose not to have a videographer so the photos were very important to us and Darren did not disappoint. Prior to the wedding Darren arranged to have a coffee with us to find out what we wanted, this was very reassuring and helpful as we did not have an engagement shoot. On the day Darren was so subtle capturing every part of the day perfectly from getting ready to the evening party. He made us feel very comfortable and captured every special moment. The photos were presented to us beautifully in a lovely book style case with the usb stick and the photos are all categorised following the flow of the day. There were a mix of colour and black and white images which we absolutely love. The natural shots are our favourite and just what we wanted. Darren gave up his New Years Eve for us and we can’t thank him enough. We would absolutely recommend Darren to all future brides and grooms.

Both my husband and I cannot recommend Darren enough! He was a pleasure to work with from discussing what style pictures we would like, right up to reviewing the final pictures after the big day. We told Darren we wanted very natural and not 'staged' pictures yet wanted some of the whole family for our parents etc. Darren captured every moment of our wedding perfectly and we still adore looking through our pictures. Many of our guests after the wedding said how friendly and professional Darren was, in particular the morning of the wedding whilst getting ready etc. he captured all of the emotion which I had forgotten in the moment of preparing to leave for church.
